In this college, studies and teaching are being conducted in Arts, Science (Biology) and Commerce in graduation first, second and third classes from the session 2018-19.Since the youth remained engaged in constructive use of energy inside the classrooms, indiscipline did not occur on the college campus.

Government College was established in 2018-19 by the government of Chhattisgarh in the rural and tribal area of Biharpur district Surajpur the institution was functioning from the campus of Government Higher Secondary School after establishment. But now the college has been shifted through its own building since 2018-19. Most of the students are from the remote tribal area of. Though co education institutions, almost 80% of the total students are girls in our college, show the purpose of the college being established has been fulfilled by educating the girl child who can not effort the study outside their block area due to their Economic problems.
